A Wide Range of Lithium Chemistries to Meet Your Needs
EaglePicher batteries for medical implantable devices are available in a variety of lithium chemistries, including:

  • Lithium thionyl chloride (Li/SOCl2)
  • Lithium manganese dioxide (Li/MnO2)
  • Lithium carbon mono fluoride (CFx)
  • Lithium-ion (Li-Ion)

With the exception of the rechargeable lithium ion cell, all are primary non-rechargeable cells and batteries.

Batteries Designed to Fit the Unique Needs of Each Medical Application

  • All batteries are designed and manufactured to fit the specific geometry of the device they are designed to power.
  • Cells are available in wound, stacked-plate or bobbin configurations and are made from stainless steel or titanium.
  • All are laser welded for hermetical sealing and have a special glass-to-metal (GTM) seal insulating the molybdenum feed-through from the case.
